Commission Artwork

Sometimes you have a very specific idea in mind - a particular colour palette, size, shape or feeling - and you need the right piece of art to bring a space together.

Commissioning an original artwork allows us to create something specifically for you and your space.

Where possible, I prefer to meet with you in person and view the space the artwork will be created for. This gives me a much better understanding of the room, its proportions, natural light, existing colours and materials, and exactly how the piece will sit within the space.

Each of my canvases is handmade in our workshop, which means we can create your artwork to a specific size rather than working within standard dimensions. From there, we can explore the details together - including scale, colour palette, composition and framing options - to create something that feels considered and completely at home in its surroundings.

If an in-person consultation isn't possible, that's no problem. Simply send through photographs or details of the space, along with any inspiration images, colours, materials or ideas you have in mind. You can also browse my gallery for previous works and let me know if there are particular pieces, colours or textures that you're drawn to.

The Process

Once we have discussed your ideas and established the direction for the piece, I'll provide you with a timeline for completion. As a guide, commissioned artworks generally take approximately 6 weeks, with a specific completion date confirmed when your artwork is ordered.

Before your artwork leaves the studio, I'll send through photographs of the completed piece so you can see the finished work and make sure you're happy with it.

All artworks are delivered ready to hang.
